Name: Zeroga Mandrayer
Rank: N/A (Bounty Hunter/Mercenary)
Type: General interaction/Story Building
People involved: Bek Xalrich
Date: 1/3/16

Unlikely Companions

(13:39:03) Bek Xalrich could have been sleeping. Hard to tell. His back was leaned to the wall. One leg flat on the ground bent close, while the other was propped upwards, still folded close. The kilt thing he wore draped enough to not show anything innapropriate. His arms were crossed over his stomach with that long Nelvaanian muzzle nearly reaching them, with how hunched over he was. The slow swaying of the ornamental bead woven into the single hair braid was the only real sign that he was still breathing, as limbs and such blocked the view of his stomach region.

(13:50:30) Zeroga Mandrayer sat hunched over the ship's control console, examining a list he had narrowed down for the possible locations of the exiled Jedi Order. He sighed heavily, as his fingers casually danced over the keys of the control panel. "Kara, I'm setting course for the Ossus system, verify then make the Jump." He rose from the pilots seat and made his way towards the living area of the ship. "Now, for that Nelvannian..." he muttered as he arrived at the ships galley, taking a meal ration from one of the cabinets. He spun on his right heel and headed towards the cargo compartment that had been fashioned into a holding sell. "Kara, what's the status of the Nelvannian?" he barked as he arrived at the cell door. 'He appears to be sleeping, Zero'. He nodded, shifting the ration to his left hand, resting his right hand on his blaster, just in case... "Alright, open the door"

(13:55:25) Bek Xalrich was somewhere between meditation and light dozing, not comfortable enough to outright sleep, but knew he needed some sooner or later. Better to get extended light sleep than none at all. The hiss of a door would make those ears perk up immediately, and those solid black eyes popped open, surrounded by the thick grey blue pelt. Apparently not asleep enough. He didn't move, though a low growl escaped his throat. "At least the last prison disguised itself as a planet...." He said, loud enough to be heard but not caring if it was or not.

(14:04:02) Zeroga Mandrayer stepped into the room, keeping himself between Bek and the open door. He relaxed his guard slightly with the lack of movement from the Nelvannian. He tossed the ration on the floor near Bek, furrowing his brow at the comment, although this would be hidden by his helmet. "They probably have better food, too. I'll be glad to throw you off back there kid." He took a half step back, closer to the doorway. He wasn't quite sure of this guy yet. "You got a name?" he asked, condescendingly.

(14:08:18) Bek Xalrich almost seemed to ponder it a moment. Though he didn't comment, whatever internal thought he had was decided on and put away somewhere within himself. He saw the ration hit the floor. He was quite tempted to resist the need for food, but his stomach ached for sustenance more and more these days. It needed more, more than the pirates were willing to give him. He rocked forwards and slapped his hand down on it, though he was carefully watching Zero as he did it, leaning back to his original position. "Bek." He stated, sniffing at the wrapper distastefully. "I want my spear back." He added barely a moment later. Spear? That rusted, bent up hunk of metal? Well... One side looks like it had been angled and sort of made a point.

(14:21:39) Zeroga Mandrayer relaxed a bit more as Bek took the ration, still trying to put together how a Nelvannian ended up a captive of space pirates. It just didn't add up in his mind. He hadn't completely ejected the notion that this kid was actually a Pirate. 'Spear?' the thought, recalling the piece of scrap the kid had grabbed during their hasty evacuation of the pirate-occupied temple ruins. 'He thinks that's a spear? Is he primitive, or just stupid...' Zero swung his right arm up to shoulder level, motioning towards the rear of the ship with an extended thumb "You mean that hunk of scrap you were carrying? It's with the garbage, to be ejected." He then lowered his arm, resting his right hand in a fist on his hip. "Now, unless you want to stay locked up in here forever, I suggest you start explaining how you ended up on that planet..."

(14:28:58) Bek Xalrich seemed to get all the more agitated. Not at all when it was called a hunk of scrap. Not when it was said to be with the garbage. But that moment he said ejected, his fangs showed as he growled louder. "That hunk of scrap is all I got. So ether return it or replace it." That hunk of scrap had kept him safer than one would believe while stranded on planet to planet. "Got sick of the hot planet. No one would take me home. So picked a ship at random." He tore open the wrapper, sniffing at it a bit more, as if he would be able to detect any sort of drugs on it. "They found out. Thought I was odd, so kept me captive on their planet. Better than hot planet. More alive. Still too warm." He looked between the food and Zero. "Do you swear there is no drugs in this....food?" He seemed unsure if that was the proper word for it. Food. But asking if Zero swore, it seemed to hold an important weight to him. His eyes were focused on the helmet. "

(14:46:28) Zeroga Mandrayer let out a muffled 'Hmp', amused by the Nelvannian's attachment to his makeshift weapon. He shifted his weight to his left slightly as he listened to Bek explain his circumstances, envoking breif flashes of Zero's own childhood. He knew all too well what it was like to wander sector to sector trying to get back to 'home', inspiring a bit of empathy for Bek. Zero cleared his throat, pointing at the ration's wrapper "It's a Republic emergency ration, if it's poisioned, blame them." Zero sighed, he had been eating them for a few days now, banking on being able to resupply when he encountered the pirates. "I'll think about letting you have your scrap back." At this point, he was just enjoying poking fun at Bek.

(14:50:58) Bek Xalrich seemed to sit there a moment. A little agrivation behind those black eyes, but finally he gave a nod. "No eyes, but fine." He didn't even take another wiff, just popped it into his mouth and chowed down quick. Yeah, the look on his face would be typical of the sort of "food" he just ate. "Too many on Tatooine ruin their word. Not worth anything to them. What does a .....being have if not their word?" He sighed, shifting against the wall a moment before resting his head back against it. "Let me know when I am no longer captive." He grumbled and went back to his "nap". Though his ears were perked, listening carerfully despite taking away his own vision.

(14:59:08) Zeroga Mandrayer smirked behind his visor, seeing Bek's reaction to the arguably awful ration, but that smirk soon changed to disbelief as he heard Bek comment on Tatooine. Quite insightful from one he was just considering primitive. "Being a man of your word is a dying art, kid." He muttered as he spun to exit the hold. "We're headed to Ossus. I've got a job that will hopefully be completed there." He stepped casually through the bulkhead "Sorry, kid, you don't make it this far in my world by blindly trusting people." Zero sighed, pressing the door actuator "Kara, keep an eye on him." as the door slid shut and locked.

People involved: Pojo, Mitra Khan, Evans Gill, Wol Nara

Unexpected Arrival

(00:18:30)Pojo was...somewhere. Had to be. The little ball zipped over the court yard, the single eye camera scanning the ground. It fretted in its droned buzz droid voice. It was keeping itself higher in the air, going from bush to bush trying to peek through the leaves. Pojo was grinning its wolfish grin as it kept out of sight, crouched down out of sight of the droid.

(00:26:22) Mitra Khan was meditating, or attempting to at least. Quite frankly, since she had been given the responsibility of mentoring a newly anointed Padawan (or in this case, caring for one), she had found it quite difficult to find a moment's peace to meditate. "Pojo, sit!" she demanded, single eye snapping open to peer off to the side. Seriously, it's like training a mutt! Though she was a Jedi Knight, mentoring a padawan was something she felt she wasn't quite ready for and had meditated on the matter numerous times. Yet despite her own doubts, the council must have thought she was ready, or at least wanted to play a practical joke on her sanity. Whether the mutt obeyed, Mitra closed her eye and attempted yet again to calm her mind and reach out to the Force.

(00:36:12)Zeroga Mandrayer let out a muffled "hmph" as the Karasud dropped out of hyperspace. He verified his headings and laid in his final course calculations. "This is getting tiresome..." he muttered, as the ship approached Ossus. Zero seemed agitated and bored, as if he had been searching for something with no result, for a good while. A window appeared on the console in time with an annoying little chime, the same one when you don't buckle up for hyperspace. it read. "Alright, then..." He exclaimed, almost excited. After switching the ship over to auto-pilot he headed to his quarters to retrieve the rest of his Armor.

(00:42:41) Evans Gill was peacefully enjoying a slow walk in the outside gardens when he met with a disturbance, Mitra and her new "pet". Cracking a smile at the sight, he approached them, the usual "vzzz vzzz" mechanical movements being emitting from his cybernetic eye, announcing his arrival, "Quite the Padawan you received, Mitra." A casual greeting, one accustom with Evans would use outside of official business.

(00:46:22) Pojo half glared at the order. Yeah, he looked like a dog. Did't mean he thought like one. He was smart! He was clever! Clever enough to find loopholes. Like the "sit" command. It basically told you to put your rump on the ground. WELL! His rump was already on the groud! So HA. The floating sphere zipped over to a new bush, creeping closer cautiously. It turned to the new arrival. It spoke with a little bowing nod before going back to looking for the hidden canine.

(00:55:50) Mitra Khan huffed in reply, eye opening once more to acknowledge Evans along with a you're telling me half-smirk before shutting and returning to her meditation. Mitra knew the importance of patience and if there was ever a virtue she struggled with most within the Jedi Order's teachings, it was just that. Fortunately for Mitra however, rumors said her father was the exact same way, possibly worst, when he was her age. It wasn't until the droid spoke before Mitra realized that her efforts to find peace was futile at this time and she was cease her attempts to meditate. Slumping her shoulders in defeat, "He's between the hedge and the bush.." she muttered to the droid. Two days. She had the padawan for two days and she couldn't even get the kid to sit down for a measly hour to meditate. Why did the council thing she was ready for this again?

(01:03:47) Zeroga Mandrayer clasped his helmet on, then retrieved the pair of blasters from the table to his left. He holstered them as he ducked under the door bulkhead, exiting his quarters. He once again took his seat in the cockpit, returning to a notification of 'Objects Found'. "Kara, what did we find?" His voice deeper than before, with a mechanical ring to it. {Zero, topographical scans show structures that could be Jedi in origin.} A feminine, droid-like voice replied. "Excellent. Set us down a few kliks from there, I'll approach on foot. I don't want a repeat of last time..." He rose abruptly and traversed to the back of the ship. A loud, dull 'Ka-Thunk' echoed through the ship as it touched down. Zero made his way towards the coordinates that Kara had detected the temple buildings. As he approached it was obvious this temple wasn't abandoned. "Lucky day.." he mumbled, as he cautiously made his way into the gardens.

(01:09:48) Evans Gill eyed the floating droid, lost in thoughts as he wondered if Pojo's training would amount to something. Only time would tell, "On the bright side," he smiled, realizing that her meditation most likely wouldn't be happening now, "It should be good training. After all, don't we learn the most when we are the teacher?" He faintly chuckled, looking in the direction where he felt the presence of the feral sentient, "Still, it is an unusual student."

(01:16:30) Pojo glared at the two as they spoke. She took away his surprise. He stuck his head out, those unnerving solid yellow eyes staring at the group. He made some feralesque noises, the droid turning towards Evans. It pipped up. When the droid returned to looking at Pojo, he seemed to already forget the current situation as he found a branch to tug on. A little playful growl as the large six legged wolf came out of his hiding spot to try and pull the branch off. Of course, Pojo was not really paying attention to the talking ball. Not till it drifted closer to give it another robotic scolding. Close enough that the jaws suddenly lashed out to catch the droid. The droid sighed.

(01:34:49) Mitra Khan released a sigh and jumped from her perch, approaching her new padawan while barely being able to contain her agitation. Crouching in front of him, she'd reach for the droid, clasped the metallic sphere, and attempt to yank it from Pojo's jaw. If successful, she'd let the droid go and focused her attention on the Codru-Ji pup. "Listen, you want to have fun and I get that, but this isn't another day in Master Willowchehuckt's classes. You've been chosen, above anyone else in your class, and with that choice comes maturity." Mitra spoke in a firm yet understanding tone, as if emphasizing with the pup on some level. "We'll make time for fun, but you need to find balance and work sometimes as well. Do you understand?" Turning to face Evans, she presented him with a clenched jaw and an eye roll. Mitra couldn't help but envy her fellow Knight, though on a deeper level knew that she should be honored with the responsibility she had received. Perhaps she should listen to her own words.

(01:42:21) Zeroga Mandrayer advanced deeper into the gardens, scanning the area for any individuals. The temple was clearly visible in the distance, however it was beginning to concern him that he had not come across even so much as a guard to this point. As he rounded a corner by a tall shrub, he would be alerted to the conversation happening farther up the path. He grunted quietly to himself and ducked down below the shrub line, attempting to advance closer. 'They seem distracted... Are they Jedi? I'm surprised they haven't noticed me' he thought, inching closer as cautiously as possible.

(01:52:40) Evans Gill stared at the droid and Pojo for a moment. Despite having seen the feral around the academy for a while now, he still had difficulty associating him with sentience. "Right, my bad." Hopefully he would get used to it. Somewhat enjoy the spectacle of Mitra struggling with her apprentice, a presence, an outsider, would suddenly be sensed by the Knight. Remembering that these were odd times, he calmly looked upward to the bushes. His artificial eye would make a timid mechanical sound, as if the focus adjusted to the distance. Perhaps it was even zooming? Only Evans future application will tell. Nonetheless, despite not identifying Zeroga, he was aware of a certain presence, "Don't look now, " He muttered, "But we have a friend."

(01:48:17) Wol Nara was not a typical sight amongst the gatherings of Jedi. Or for that matter, any force users at all. Not at all attuned with the magics of the universe, and not particularly bright. Having only just arrived, the spacer was promptly payed, and ushered along on his way. Passing through the gardens, still stuffing tangible credits into a vest pocket, before he'd be taking note of the little gathering. Although the spy was not very well hidden, hidden was how he would remain to the Aqualish. The mutt was at the front of the spider's notice this time around. And with a frown behind yellowing tusks, Wol would be taking a very obviously scenic route in passing. Lifting a single clawed hand in a vague salute of greeting.

(02:02:25) Pojo ears pinned back when he was getting a talking to. Getting a master had been so exciting. He had wondered if they just wanted to get him out of the normal class, cause he was a big distraction. He looked like something all the kids wanted to pet and play with. Cause what else would a bunch of kids stuck in a room told to study do when you saw an animal? But now that he was here he found it hard to focus due to excitement. He made some murmurs that was recognizable as the way he spoke. THe droid was cut off as Pojo suddenly barked, smelling a stranger, taking several large steps and jumping up onto one of the seats, barking several times. Well, so much for Evan's attempt to be quiet about it.

(02:18:13) Mitra Khan felt a presence in addition to Pojo's and Evans only moments before Evans had pointed out and was in the process of rising when Pojo leapt on top of the seat beside her and began barking. Indeed these were troubled times for the Jedi Order. Betrayed by the Republic and forced into the outer rim of the galaxy, most of the order have struggled to cope with their new situation. More importantly, without the backing of the Republic, the Jedi Order is vulnerable to potential attacks from the Sith. Thus, when an unknown person was able to get this close to the Temple, moreso this close a Jedi Padawan, it made Mitra question the temple's security protocol. "Pojo, hush!" Mitra demanded, momentarily forgetting that her new padawan was not a dog. If obeyed however, Mitra would speak out to the stranger. "It is probably in your best interest to show yourself. It's not wise to sneak up o-..." But before she could finish her warning, another complete stranger just strolled on by, not even bothering with hiding and even waving to the Jedi. "Wait!" She called, "Now just wait right there!" Seriously, are there like no guards at all?

(02:20:25) Zeroga Mandrayer realizing he'd been compromised, rose from his kneeling posture slowly and fluidly. He held his arms slightly out from his sides, palms facing the group as a show of neutrality. "Are you Jedi?" his cold, metallic tone echoed across the garden, his condescending inflection on 'Jedi' an indication of his uncertainty. "If so, I have a message for you. You people are hard to find." His attention seemed mostly on Pojo, as he spoke.
