Chapter 1: The Wound in the Force

Several months have passed since the New Republic had cast out the Jedi Order, sending them to the once abandoned Jedi Temple of Ossus. In this time, the Republic has taken the offensive on their war with the Galactic Empire, pushing them to the far regions of unknown space while proving to the galaxy that the New Republic no longer needs the protection of the Jedi Order. For the first time in nearly a decade long war, there is finally hope in the galaxy.

With the remnants of the Sith scattered and hidden as well as the Jedi's own numbers suffering as a result of the war, Grandmaster Wilowchehuckt has felt ripples of instability in the Force and fears that it is at its most vulnerable since the days of the Jedi purge.

With victory firmly in his grasp, Head of State Anders Ulain has turned his attention to the Jedi and requests an audience with its Council on their new home planet of Ossus. There they would discuss a proposal that would allow the Jedi to have minimal influence in the New Republic affairs, mainly to clean up the now fractured Sith Legion. Only Anders would not be arriving alone; accompanied by a mysterious and elite squad of specialized soldiers known as the "TITAN Force."
