Defining Characteristics: An inquisitive, choleric sort of man that can yet manage to be utterly affable, agreeable, eloquent, and charming in spite of it all, Eron seems to bear a personality destined to fail the discovery of the true wisdom of the Force, for which he so desperately craves.
Yet, he can maintain (mostly) unwavering command in his presentation, in meditation, in burying bothersome emotions when needed, in the Force - indeed, considering his approach to many things seems to revolve around such control, and coupled with his sponge-like mind, it appears a stroke of luck that he'd managed to surround himself with people who steered him well, and that he'd end up aligned with the Light side, indeed. Happily, this need for control and manipulation has been channeled into a (far safer) drive to teach others, and a fatherly, nurturing sort of side has appeared to emerge in light of this - and in spite of himself.
And therein arises the contradiction of this man: He seems the type to be incredibly lonely, yet holds most at arm's length; would, in fact, curiously claim that "attachment is affliction," if caught off-guard. Any conversation that begins to cut to an enshrouded core is capably turned around, and often he aims to know more about a person than that person would know about him. On occasion, however, the mask does falter - but his slips are rare.
Powerful, tactful, gifted in battle, with a shrewd understanding and a desire for constant change and motion, Eron is a man of great intellectual prowess - and great impatience. The rank of 'knight' was long-belated, as will perhaps any future ranks; wisdom and restraint were always things with which he'd struggled.
This dichotomy extends to his dueling. Vapaad is a frightful technique, but also a very revealing one, and it is perhaps his interest in - and insistence on - this fighting style that reveals more about the man than he'd ever surrender willingly: a healthy respect for the
entire Force, and a talent for moving people about like a roguish Grandmaster upon his own private dejarik-board, turning their darker emotions back upon them. For not many can tread so close to the dark side without giving in entirely, after all - and yet, Eron manages, speaking to a far greater discipline than he often projects.
Oh, I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them.Description: A strange, stalking scarecrow of a human clad in traditional Jedi garb, Eron isn't what one would call conventionally attractive. A little too-tall, a little too-angular, with a shrewd, dissective stare that's a little too-
dead, he nevertheless projects a constant air of confidence and competence, if not simmered in more than a hint of barely-restrained impatience. Something about him always seems to be in constant yet deliberate motion; when not working or subtly fidgeting, he speaks with his hands.
His face is one of harsh angles, high cheekbones, and a straight, pointed nose; his eyes are large, round and a dark brown, his skin a warm, dark olive tan. His hair is a mop of loose, dark curls, and the periodic gray streaks betray a prematurely advancing age.

Benchmarks:Fighting Style: A maverick through and through, and will fight dirty with a variety of Force techniques if it appears the practical and pragmatic approach to the win. In a lightsaber duel, he favors Form VII's aggressive and emotional application, wielding the torch of doubt and chaos to confuse, mirror and overwhelm an opponent. Failing that, he isn't above using blasters or blades more mundane if the situation calls for it, though he isn't nearly so adept, and privately laments the remoteness, the loss of the forbidden thrill of close-combat.
Rather than being the stereotypical sourpuss when outperformed by someone far younger at the workplace, he's openly curious and invigorated - and for miss Mitra Kahn and her deceptive, improvisational style, as well as her command of Trākata, he only has great respect and loyalty.
Strength: Medium - Lean, wiry, roped with muscle - but about standard for a trained human in his prime, at his height and build. He's a speed, trickery and agility based fighter, less a brute.
Endurance: Medium - While an angular, athletic build speaks to excellent physical training and preternatural Force abilities provide great defense, he still is human, and has seen - and hides - his share of adventures and scars. He can most certainly break, and isn't very good at deciding on when or if he's overworking himself...
Agility: High - ...but that doesn't stop him from being a ridiculously nimble beanpole. There's a lot of him to swing around, and he does so with a viciously balletic sort of grace.
Non-Combat AbilitiesIntelligence: High - A collector of texts of Jedi and Sith alike, Eron is often engrossed in learning and hoarding all he can, and his demand for knowledge is near-insatiable, and his ability to apply it to current situations is on the mark. Similarly, he's fairly good at guessing motivations and reading emotion, even if he isn't always so good at empathizing with them, or constructing or projecting his own true feelings, himself.
When otherwise unoccupied, he's likely to seek out music, or any sort of board or holo-game he can, including chess and dejarik. He hates to lose, but loves to compete, and opponents have been known to step up out of sheer insistence on
shutting him up.Wisdom: Low-to-Medium - A clever man, but with a rudimentary soul. While exceptionally bright, ambitious and eager to soak up any and all information that captures his interest, he lacks the understanding of the Masters for which he so desperately and insistently
craves.
