Other then the fact that any and all information about Doren Ev[file corruption]rd is either steeped in classification or just is not there. Doren, better known as D, does not talk much about anything, gives no instruction, and operates alone.
Doren only answers questions with silence, or more questions, and does not hesitate to simply walk away.

What could be guessed, and accurately, is that prior to his involvement with the Jedi Temple, he was once a Bounty Hunter operating with the Guild in Crimson. Its speculated that Doren put down a budding Syndicate, a slave trading ring, and took the head of several corrupt officials for bounties as well as 'side contracts'.
This information had been gathered after Doren assassinated Republic Sena[file corruption]tule for their connection with a newly developing Tali-Rye Syndicate that existed for less then two full cycles.
The Senator in question had been under both the protection, and investigation by the Jedi Order at the time. Due to the way Se[file corruption]e was slain with a Lightsaber wielding assailant, Jedi Master [file corruption] investig[file corruption]chased[file corruption...please standby...]

[file integrity restored]rd was brought into the Jedi protection to do community service. After two years of constant supervision and questions, the Council dispatched Doren to a back water world to gather intelligence on several key suspects in a major investigation for Slave Trading within Republic Space while under the Guidance of Jedi Master Oril Puson, a Jedi Councilor.

Puson originally expressed doubt on D's ability to show compassion, since Doren shows as much emotion as a cleaning droid. After the mission however, Puson had not only been impressed with the way Doren handled himself, having gathered the intelligence needed without having to resort to physical violence, Puson also wished to sponsor his apprenticeship that would eventually bring Doren into the Knighthood.

That has been over fifty years ago.

Since the last Galactic War, D had been noted in being at several key battles on several planets, but has not been singled out for distinction outside of Intelligence gathering in any of them. His service Record is Currently Classified and cannot be reviewed outside of the Council's Approval.

He has had four Padawans during, and up to the Course of the Galactic War. Only two have survived to Knighthood, one of them became a decorated hero, none of them survived to see Peace.

Doren is regularly dispatched on other missions revolving political and suspicious activities in troubled sectors. Though prevelant in handing themselves, they have been known to be attached to Jedi teams, where he earned a reputation to being the Jedi Council's 'Attack Dog'.

Give a brief description of your characters skills in the following categories to give an over all idea of how your character works.

Fighting skill: Doren doesn't have much 'power' behind his Force Abilities, but he makes up for it in tactical aptitude, martial prowess and a deep understanding of the Makashi Lightsaber form. Though he practices both the Soresu for its defense against blasters, and the Ataru Form in order to exploit his superior agility, D's preference, and strength is the Makashi form when he has no other choice but to engage.

Otherwise, Doren has been known to use thermal detonators, blasters...anything and everything to achieve the desired outcome. Unlike other Jedi, Doren shows no hesitation or thought to 'steeping' to mundane tactics, favoring practicality over tradition.


Agility Doren's profession prior to being 'enlisted' officially into the Jedi Order was one that required that he be capable of scaling buildings, slithering through air shafts, and leaping from ledge to ledge in awkward positions. He is quite capable of preforming leaping bounds and spectacular displays of gymnastic skill without the aid of the Force, which makes him one of the more Agile Jedi in he Temple.

Strength Though he has the build of a martial artist, Doren would have considerable trouble trying to haul around something his own body weight. In an outright war of attrition with physical body strength as a dependence, Doren could be outmatched, and easily, by others with more imposing physiques.

Endurance: Doren has the endurance of a marathon runner, capable of running and to continue to do so for an extended period of time. However, it wouldn't take much to bring Doren down. He would will himself to press onward, D does not have the 'health' to take on to many solid hits.

Reason: D is capable of grasping complex politics, see patterns in an area of vague, computerized data, and extracting information from fragments of a whole. However, he has a hard time trying to understand why beings do absolutely stupid things, for 'petty' emotions.

Intuition: Though having no foresight with the Force, D's thorough nature makes him a keen observer, allowing him to discern fact from fiction. He is not one to make snap judgement nor take everything at face value.

Psyche: Doren is a being who displays disquieting patience and an emotional spectrum of a base program responsible for opening doors. When he speaks, D has been mistaken for arrogant as well as wise, sometimes pointing out obvious flaws or even remaining silent to allow someone to fail, and learn. Doren is an intensely focused individual who prefers actions to speak louder then he should have to.

Special Abilities: When some of the most prominent Jedi Masters in existence spoke the words, "...let the Force flow through you," they did not mean this in a literal sense, wishing a student, or individual to let the Force Guide them. D simply lets the Force pass through him without hindrance, allowing him to cut himself off from another's attempt to feel him out, discern D's intent or meaning. This may also explain why Doren's abilities with the Force are not on par with other's of his Rank.

Saber(s): Two. He carries a slightly elongated hilt of ordinary make, short of its length, that produces one standard Lightsaber 'blade'. The other is highly ornate, but the energy component is long dead, and he seems to keep it about as a 'lucky charm'.

Crystal Color: Black. Yes. His that Original. When ignited, it acts like a black light, making brighter colors seem more colorful, but deepening the color of darker tones.

Other weapons: D has a habit of using different weapons at different times, dependent on the situation. He will use a Blaster as quick as he would a Lightsaber if it gets the job done.

Possessions: Owns a medium sized transport named Lola's Grace for a crew of Five, but allows the Jedi Council access depending if they wish to use it. He also owns a Hover-Cycle, a small Bar on Crimson and once owned a home on Corusant prior to its Occupation.
