Defining Characteristics: Subject of a horrible and brutal experimentation that altered her both physically and mentally. Embodying the "true sith bloodline," her appearance - otherwise human - has adopted characteristics similar to that of the ancient sith; pink skin pigmentation, bone spurs, genetic markings, red eyes. In addition, the trauma she experienced as a child has left her psychologically unstable with episodes of sanity. Composed enough to be regarded as a leader, Darth Renatus is widely known for her ruthlessness and malicious intent and thus earning her the title as High Inquisitor and Spymaster. Recognized as for her power, she is one of two chosen to have seen the mysterious enigma that is the sith's Emperor and acts as his left hand and spymaster.
Description: A wild halo of untamed platinum blonde curls sculp a young, beautiful face. Fierce crimson eyes were void of emotion, illuminating with the raw power of the dark side. Though human in essence, the result of being subjected to brutal experimentation had added permanent physical mutations. Skin was of a ruddy pigment like diluted carmine as bone spurs protrude from shoulders and elbows. Robes were of fine burgundy velvet; exotic by design that left much of her skin bare. Low cut bodice was embedded with miniature spikes with black stitching. Leather fingerless gloves covered her entire forearms, stretching well past her elbows. Long two-toned skirt clung low to her hips, ending where steel toed boots are exposed. Slim physique was covered in intricate markings customary to ancient sith tradition, visible upon her face, arms and taut abdomen. Dangling at her left hip was a single lightsaber hilt, obsidian and organic opposed to the more commonly seen metallic silver.

Bio: Born on Hapes into an aristocratic family, Arialle Kinney was never given the opportunity to live the life she was supposed to lead. Since the age of two, the young hapan had a profound connection with the force, which promptly became a race between light and dark. With both sides raging war on the galaxy, both Jedi and Sith alike were actively recruiting in an effort to strengthen their depleting numbers. Despite the efforts of hiding their daughter from the sight of her pursuers, Arialle's parents were unable to prevent her from meeting her fate. Approached first by Jedi Watchman, Nym, a fight inevitably ensued as a pair of Sith Lords from the Galactic Empire were close behind. However, while both sides were preoccupied, a true ancient of darkness snuck into the compound, murdered both of her parents and removed Arialle from her homeworld all without detection. Though Jedi Master Nym was able to fend off his adversaries, he was neither able to save the royal family, nor bring the girl to the light.

Transported far into the outer rim, to a remote planet forgotten by the galaxy for over two millennial, Arialle would find her new home to be Dromund Kaas; the capitol of the resurgent Sith Empire. Not the Galactic Empire, but the true Sith Empire ruled by a mysterious yet powerful Sith Emperor that only a select few had ever seen. Scared, Arialle quickly learned the meaning of her capture as she was quickly enlisted into genetic experiment led by sith fanatics and funded by the emperor himself. Their objective - to bring life to a long exinct species, the ancient pureblood sith.

Prior to Arialle's arrival, the scientists in charge of the project have learned through trial and error that in order to resurrect the dead race, that they must use a human as a host for the sith bloodline extracted from the mutated Massassi. Not only was a human needed however, but one powerful in the Force and that was attuned to the dark side. And yet, while Arialle had never been exposed to either side, there was something natural about the unstable energy of the dark side. Something that called out to her, that soothed her in this moment of trauma and that gave her power to fend off her fears. To Arialle, this was self-defense but to her captors, this was progress.

Arialle proved to be the perfect vessel for the DNA strand known as "true sith blood." She was injected with the strand and was monitored under heavy surveillance as the alien genes melded with her own, her body accepting the sith blood. Proven to be the host they were looking for, Arialle was held captive for years and put through all sorts of torture and experiments as the scientists expanded their research and began to produce the first generation of the Sith Reborn. However, as she endured constant torment, she would draw the attention of an entity she would be bound to serve for the remainder of her days.

Taken from the hidden laboratory on Ziost, she was brought back to Dromund Kaas where she began her apprenticeship in the ways of the dark side of the Force. In the beginning, the young girl had many masters that taught her what was needed to be a sith. Not the falsified degenerate sith supporting the Galactic Empire, but the true sith of the galaxy. She was taught not to fear her anguish, but to embrace it and use that to empower her. In the span of a few short years, Arialle had shown tremendous progress, particularly in the force. At the age of seven, she would begin her private apprenticeship under the Emperor himself where she would be first exposed to what would soon be her most powerful weapon of all, sith sorcery.

Several years following, Arialle adopted the name "Renatus," after accepting her fate of being the one to bring rebirth to the ancient sith. Though she was now a true member of the sith empire, she was still the subject of frequent experiments to further progress the development of the growing sith pureblood population on Ziost. With her mastery of ancient sith magic, Renatus specialized on torture and intelligence gathering, using her experience and trauma to improve her already creative mind. At the young age of fifteen, she was given the position as the Emperor's Left Hand and High Inquisitor to the empire's spy network and intelligence division, the Inquisitorious.

Though forever haunted by the traumas she had endured as a weak and pathetic child, Renatus was able to maintain a firm hold of her position for the next five years. Enhanced by her reputation as a psychopath, Renatus' success as the High Inquisitor has stretched throughout the entire Sith Empire, demanding fear and respect to all who are beneath her.


Benchmarks:

Fighting Style: Though proficient at dueling, her true mastery and skill lies within the Force. Taught in the defensive lightsaber forms of Form III and Form V, Arialle relies on her lightsaber create a near impenetrable defense while using her mastery of sith magic as a means to cripple and damage her foes. Hindered only by her endurance, Arialle possesses a great challenge on the battlefield whether fending off one foe or many as her vast knowledge in the Force enables her to strike multiple targets with the full power of the dark side.
Agility: Moderate - Regarded as a scholar over a combatant, Arialle's physical attributes are only average at best despite her slim and muscled physique. Her mastery in Soresu compliments her lack of mobility by promoting a strong defensive form
Strength: Low - Again, with her focus invested into truly understanding the full potential of the Force, she lacks in physical strength with endurance being her strongest attribute, followed by agility.
Endurance: Moderate physical endurance with high mental endurance. Due to the unforgiving nature of the dark side, concentration and focus must be invested into every spell she casts. Training her mind, Arialle's mental fortitude is remarkable, with the potential of lasting extended periods in time on the battlefield all the while balancing two, perhaps three sustainable spells at a time.

Special Abilities: Arialle has an incredibly unique gift in the ancient sith sorcery and has acquired a vast wealth of information regarding sith magic over the course of her life. Though the origins in how she happened upon this art is a mystery, she remains the leading expert on the subject and is responsible for passing the knowledge onto others. Despite her expertise, her prowess goes far beyond that of study, suggesting that she perhaps has a more intimate bond with the old ways.
